Founder of Au Bout du Monde – ABDM Koh Tan
THE ABDM Experience, and Nothing Else.
Born on the French island of La Réunion in the Indian Ocean, Erick Quelquejeu has dedicated his entire life to hospitality.
From the very beginning, his path has always been in the restaurant industry. There was never another direction.
His first passion was cuisine.
Trained and shaped through years of experience, his journey led him from Paris, where he refined his classical French culinary foundations, to Perth, where he spent several years immersed in Australia’s dynamic hospitality scene, before continuing his career between La Réunion and international environments.
Each destination strengthened his discipline.
Each culture expanded his creativity.
Naturally drawn to the world of cocktails, Erick progressively developed strong expertise in cocktail craftsmanship and mixology. What began as a personal passion evolved into technical mastery. He participated in professional mixology competitions and has also served as a jury member, reinforcing his legitimacy in the field.
For Erick, a cocktail follows the same philosophy as a dish: precision, balance, structure and emotion.
As the founder of Au Bout du Monde – ABDM Koh Tan, he does not simply design menus.
He designs experiences.
Today, what truly drives him is clear:
to be a creator of memories.
Through his plates.
Through his cocktails.
Through THE ABDM Experience, and Nothing Else.
Because for Erick, gastronomy is not only about taste.
It is about emotion.
And about creating moments that remain long after the island fades from view.
