Fine Dining on Koh Tan

A Private Island Culinary Experience

On the preserved island of Koh Tan, just off South Koh Samui, fine dining takes on an entirely different meaning. At Au Bout Du Monde, it is not simply a restaurant meal — it is part of a curated private island journey designed to unfold over the course of an entire day.

Accessible only by traditional long-tail boat from Thong Krut Pier, our dining experience begins long before the first course is served. Surrounded by silence, sea breeze and uninterrupted views of the Gulf of Thailand, guests are invited to slow down and immerse themselves fully in the moment.

Our five-course menu is a celebration of international fusion cuisine, where tropical flavors meet Thai traditions and European refinement. Inspired by global culinary influences and enhanced by carefully selected local ingredients, each dish reflects a dialogue between cultures, techniques and seasons. The menu evolves regularly throughout the year, adapting to seasonal availability and creative inspiration, ensuring that every visit offers a renewed gastronomic discovery.

Pairing is approached with the same international spirit. Our wine selection complements the fusion cuisine with carefully balanced combinations, while signature mocktails are crafted as sophisticated alternatives — equally curated, equally expressive.

Every detail — from sourcing to presentation — is guided by a philosophy of mindful craftsmanship and excellence.

Often described as a private island restaurant in Koh Tan, Au Bout Du Monde goes beyond traditional fine dining in South Koh Samui. It is not a table reservation. It is a full-day fusion culinary experience, framed by nature and curated with intention.

The Culinary Vision

Cuisine has always been Erick Quelquejeu’s first passion. Trained through years of international experience, he developed a culinary approach inspired by both French gastronomic traditions and global influences.

At Au Bout du Monde – ABDM Koh Tan, his cuisine reflects this journey. Each dish is part of a fusion culinary philosophy, blending tropical ingredients, Thai inspiration and international techniques into a refined fine dining experience.

The menu evolves regularly throughout the year, adapting to seasons, creativity and the availability of local ingredients. Every plate is designed to be balanced, elegant and expressive — a dialogue between cultures and flavors.

For Erick, gastronomy is not only about taste.

It is about emotion.

And about creating a moment that feels suspended in time, on a private island at the edge of Koh Samui.
